As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape your clients' systems. Your customer will trust you not only to ensure the successful integration of these systems but also to navigate a wide range of both technical and programmatic challenges as the systems mature through the life of the program. On our team, you’ll be able to grow your skills by merging spaceflight system knowledge and systems engineering to create solutions to some of the most complex engineering and integration challenges in human spaceflight.
In this role, you use your knowledge in the area of human spaceflight systems to interface with multiple teams across offices and partners to build your expertise. You will seek out and identify integration issues and assist with resolution. You will be the interface between an International Partner organization and the Senior Leadership team.

You Have:
8 years of experience in human spaceflight systems engineering
Experience with requirements development, software integration and verification, or hardware integration and verification
Ability to work collaboratively and resolve issues with multiple customers and stakeholders, often with competing priorities
Ability to drive a technical problem to a conclusion and coordinate with senior management
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or an Engineering field
Nice If You Have:
Experience with commercial human space flight programs
Experience with contract management
Knowledge of Space Vehicle Systems, including Extra Vehicular Activity, Environmental and Life Support, Thermal Systems, Structures, Avionics, and Power Systems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
