We’re looking for a network administrator to build and maintain the infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and take advantage of cloud capabilities and services to help us maintain the U.S. Air Force’s advantage over adversaries. 

As a Network Administrator on our team, you’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

This is an opportunity to gain experience in the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using cloud capabilities and services. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills in the newest networking technologies while developing critical systems for the Air Force. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have: 

• 7 years of experience in network administration and support 
• Experience deploying and managing switches and routers
• Experience troubleshooting IP address and VLAN issues 
• Knowledge of networking protocols, including ARP, DNS, SMTP, HTTPS, or IP
• Knowledge of cloud networking implementation
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification within 3 months of start date

Nice If You Have: 

• Knowledge of load balancers  
• Knowledge of link aggregation (LAG) and VPN protocols 
• TS/SCI clearance
• IAM Level II Certification such as CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
