Key Role:

Designs, installs, configures, and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure to meet the business needs, and monitors and troubleshoots problems. Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees. Installs, configures, and maintains an organization’s LAN, WAN, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Performs system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Reviews system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyzes network and server resource consumption and control user access. Installs and upgrades software and maintain software licenses. Assists in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in monitoring, maintaining, and administering LAN, WAN, data communications network, and operating systems
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently research new technologies and products
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• A DOD 8570 IAT Level 3 cybersecurity certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
