What You'll Do:

• Engineer resilient and scalable networks using both traditional and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Explore the implementation of SDWAN solutions to optimize connectivity across distributed locations.
• Collaborate with teams to understand evolving requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Act as an individual contributor or task lead, depending on project needs.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and adopting next-gen networking practices.

You Have:

• 5 years of experience with network engineering for routing, switching, and firewall and VPN solutions
• Experience working in the military
• Experience operating in DoD frameworks, including RMF, NIST, or STIGs
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level II or above, including Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA , or GSEC Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with automation tools, including Ansible or Python, for network configuration and management
• Experience with cloud networking, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with emerging technologies, including 5G networking, network slicing, or AI-based network management
• Experience with leadership and managing teams or projects in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles
• Possession of excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Networking, or a related field
• CCNP, CCDP, JNCIP, or other industry-recognized Certifications, including in Networking, Security, or related fields

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
