Public Health Transformation Leader

Key Role:

Apply expert understanding of public health disciplines to assist with designing, developing, and implementing programs and policies. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in a delivery role focused on management, technology, and Public Health sciences 
• 5 years of experience as a team leader and developing and mentoring junior staff to build scale 
• Experience working with a variety of public health or healthcare leaders to draft strategies and plans, including development of as-is or to-be state, conducting gap analyses, and development of strategic approaches
• Experience with the definition and execution of business strategy to drive into HHS mission areas, including state, tribal, local, and territorial Public Health work, chronic diseases, and grants management
• Knowledge of Federal HHS markets, particularly CDC and OIG
• Ability to work with senior leaders to pull in a broad array of capabilities to develop and tailor a capability briefing to help shape and influence thinking around client challenges
• Ability to collaborate with overall federal health account leadership and teams to formalize strategies, investments, landscape analyses, and capture in alignment with health account goals and strategies, and provide subject matter expertise to help drive branding with the health market and prospective clients 
• Ability to use delivery and BD tools and processes to drive effective client delivery and new capture efforts, and work comfortably in a time-sensitive, rapidly evolving, and fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience within the federal health market, or Master’s degree and 7 years of experience within the federal health market

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
