As a solutions architect lead for our team, you'll oversee the translation of our customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products, design specifications, statements of work, requirements, and scripts. You will also oversee engineering teams who will translate the architecture into more detailed requirements. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way our client uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have:

• 8 years of experience leading development and implementation of solution architecture
• 3 years of experience as a software engineering manager, technical lead, or technical manager
• Experience working with software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology such as cloud, automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks
• Experience with Agile processes, including project tracking software such as Jira
• Experience architecting high-performance, high-availability systems with a focus on missions of national importance
• Experience serving as a solutions architect integrating disparate technologies into cohesive technical solutions that directly address client challenges
• Experience partnering with client stakeholders, providing technical thought leadership, bringing innovation to achieve business needs, and mentoring junior architects and developers
• Ability to work with minimal guidance to drive, schedule, and execute tasks for new solutions, features, integrations, deployments, and operations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with security compliance, including RMF or ATO processes, NIST, FedRAMP, or GRC tools
• Experience establishing frameworks for systems modernization efforts using integrated DevSecOps toolchains and test-driven development practices
• Experience working in Agile at scale in environments with multiple product-centric Agile teams
• Experience delivering architecture, engineering guidance, and software and solutions within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
• Experience with Salesforce, Pega, Palantir, AWS, and Containers
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP underlying services
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• IRS Suitability
• Master's degree in CS
• Cloud Architecture, Software Development, or DevSecOps Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
