As a lead experience designer, you can put yourself in the user’s place and design the best way for them to engage with the user experience. In this role, you’ll partner with the product manager on your team to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Leading an agile team, you’ll broaden the scope of your design skills by developing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. 

You’ll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to define User Interface (UI) requirements to design innovative user experiences. Your expertise in developing UI designs will help your team advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

You Have:

• 7 years of experience in UI and UX design, product design, or enterprise application fields

• 4 years of experience in UI and UX with cloud-based projects

• 4 years of experience working in a DoD or Federal Government environment

• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment

• Knowledge of user research, usability testing, and design thinking

• Ability to stay up to date on industry trends and technologies

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Possession of strong visual design skills, including a focus on clean, modern design

• UI and UX Certifications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
