Blackstone Multi Asset Investing (BXMA) manages approximately $83 billion across a diversified array of businesses, including a customized portfolio solutions platform, a special situations platform, an open-ended mutual fund platform, and an emerging manager seeding platform. BXMA invests across a variety of strategies, asset classes, and capital structures to create solutions for its clients.  Through its focus on client objectives, rigorous due-diligence process, and access to Blackstone’s global insights, BXMA strives to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns through market cycles while mitigating downside risk during periods of volatility.

Job Description:

The Executive Assistant role entails providing support and partnership to the Senior Managing Director/Global Head of BXMA. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage heavy calendar scheduling; plan complex meetings, calls and certain travel arrangements including domestic and international travel

  • Coordinate all logistics for internal and external meetings

  • Track business expenses and prepare expense reports

  • Receive, screen and route all incoming telephone calls, mail and correspondence

  • Help team with hosting and planning reoccurring meetings and events

  • Using good judgment, redirect inquiries to other members of team as appropriate 

  • Independently determine when to pull an executive out of a meeting to address a different matter the EA feels is urgent and important

  • Partner with other administrative assistants, including communication of handover tasks, training and other key deliverables

  • Role may require some work outside of regular business hours for time-sensitive tasks

  • Liaise with other organizations for scheduling and projects

  • Booking conference rooms for internal and external meetings; meeting and greeting guests, registering guests in the visitor system

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have:

  • 7 years of executive assistant experience supporting C-suite executives, preferably in a professional-services environment; experience in executive search ideal

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; ability to interact with talent at all levels and of all backgrounds within the firm and beyond its walls

  • Excellent attention to detail; extremely organized

  • Proactive self-starter and problem solver with strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through

  • Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize, and respond timely; adapt to changing priorities and requirements

  • Discretion in handling confidential information with utmost integrity

  • Positive, can do and professional attitude with ability to work well in a dynamic environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); familiarity with Concur is preferred

Expected annual base salary range:

$130,000 - $165,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
