Description

Peoples Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our residents and staff on WEEKENDS and make a meaningful contribution to our organizational culture and service delivery. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to elderly residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care environments. The selected candidate must demonstrate reliability, possess a strong customer service orientation, and take pride in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through the provision of high-quality care within our community.

Responsibilities may include :

  • Monitor the health and well-being of our residents
  • Diabetic Management, including blood sugar checks and insulin administration
  • Communicate with outside providers (PCP, Home Health, etc.) regarding residents' status
  • Communicate effectively with family members, POA's and legal guardians
  • Contribute clinical information needed for care conferences and care planning
  • Oversee and monitor care provided by our caregivers and med techs

Qualifications and skills :

  • Must have a Current ACTIVE LPN license
  • Must have knowledge of nursing care practices, especially in the context of geriatric care; state Boarding Home regulations about resident care
  • Therapeutic Options & Hand in Hand training a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, team player, caring, and able to foster an atmosphere of dignity and respect
  • Requires a positive attitude and high energy level
  • Requires strong communication skills
  • Be detail-oriented
