JOB SUMMARY
Are you a skilled slot technician ready to take the lead? We're looking for a Lead Slot Technician to join our team at 7 Cedars Casino! If you have experience in slot machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and leadership, this is your chance to level up your career. The Lead Slot Technician provides excellent customer service while maintaining clean and functional gaming and slot storage and repair areas. Responsible for keeping all gaming equipment in clean, working condition, performing regular Slot Tech duties as well as helping organize various projects including installs, updates, preventative maintenance, inventory and other related duties as deemed necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- At the direction of the Slot Tech Manager, the Lead Slot Tech may direct the slot tech team and vendors in the priorities of the slot department per various projects and initiatives.
- Safely move and install gaming equipment including slot machines using the proper procedures and equipment provided.
- Perform repairs as needed and regular preventative maintenance on all slot and gaming replated equipment.
- Remain flexible to the needs of the department for installs and covering for vacations.
- Help keep the parts inventory organized and the inventory list up to date.
- Assist with any machine issues encountered during the Drop.
- Be available to verify cage and jackpot payouts if needed.
- Assist and be cordial to other team members in accommodating guest service needs.
- Provide information, assistance and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & promotions to our guests.
- Maintain a constant, regular attendance record.
- Remain positive and adaptable with the ability to adjust to change.
- Interpersonal front-line communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multiple-tasking skills.
- Strong commitment to quality.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of Casino and Slot Machine repair experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions preferred
- Ability to adapt and grow with gaming team
- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
- Formal training in the repair and troubleshooting of a variety of electrical, mechanical and/or electronic equipment desired.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
- Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
