The Slot Cashier/Attendant/SB Writer provides excellent customer service while maintaining clean and functional gaming areas. When cashiering responsibilities include handling large amounts of currency, paying out Slot, Keno, SB tickets and jackpots and completing all paperwork neatly and accurately. When Attending the Slot Floor, includes being first responders to any machine issues, taking care of paper fills, bill jams and other miscellaneous issues that arise. Instruct players in the features of the slot equipment, casino procedures and promotions. When Sportsbook Writing, responsibilities include assisting customers with placing wagers and paying winning tickets on sporting events and off-track betting as well as other SB replated operations and functions. This is a hybrid position; responsibilities can include any combination of duties for each position at any day, shift, or time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Proficiently and accurately perform all slot cage transactions and required paperwork.
- Attention to all details pertaining to their assigned Bank, which they are responsible in maintaining.
- Keeping slot gaming areas clean; wiping down slot machine screens, button decks and bases, removing empty glasses, trash, and dirty ashtrays.
- Continually monitoring assigned gaming areas for debris and customer and machine needs.
- Be available to verify cage and jackpot payouts as needed.
- Perform minor machine maintenance, loading ticket paper and clearing bill validator jams.
- Assist and be cordial to other team members in accommodating guest service needs.
- Provide information, assistance and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & promotions to our guests.
- Assist the supervisor with daily operations of the race and sports book during assigned shift to ensure company compliance with policies and procedures
- Monitor all SB tickets written, cashed, voided and monies wagered during assigned shift
- Assist the supervisor with verifying cash drawers, completing reports, rating casino customer activity, monitoring race and sports book for suspicious activity.
- Maintain a constant, regular attendance record.
- Remain positive and adaptable with the ability to adjust to change.
- Interpersonal front-line communications skills to effectively interface with guests, team members and supervisors.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multiple-tasking skills.
- Strong commitment to quality.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure
- Customer Service experience
- Must complete Title 31 Training as assigned
