What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Sales Representative position at 7 Daze MFG?
We want a passionate, high-energy sales rep to take the state by storm! We don't need experience as much as we want energy, motivation, and someone coachable to take on this task of pushing our brand and products to retailers across the region and state. You need to be resilient, personable, strategic, and organized to succeed in this role. You will get a lot of "no's" but how do you turn some of those into "yeses" and are you able to keep pushing through to get to those customers who respond with a "yes?"
We also need people that are flexible, roll with the punches, and can keep customers happy no matter what comes up. This program requires us to change based on factors outside of our control, and to continually adjust processes as needed for improvement / accuracy.
You will be trained on our product offerings, the software we use, navigating the industries that we operate in, and much more. We have an established team of remote representatives that you will be joining, but as some of the first full-time direct employees for this role.
You will primarily be visiting retail locations across your assigned region to provide samples, brand education, and generate sales (either direct sales or through a local distribution partner). You are expected to be in the field 4-5 days a week typically, with some allotment for office hours, customer follow up, order submission, and account management during that time.
We want someone who sees potential in their leads (hot or cold) and is able to relentlessly service their database in order to convert leads to customers, leading to an uncapped sales commission that will be added to your standard base pay.

- Mostly remote work. We may have you occasionally come to the California office for in-person training, team meetings, and new product information. You also will have to travel for tradeshows and events and your territory may cover up to a 200 mile radius with a core emphasis in the listed primary location and surrounding cities.
- Base salary ranges depending on experience and fit. Pay range shows expected total Year 1 pay with commissions factored in.
Working Conditions:
- This position involves frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. You will need to drive a lot while visiting accounts and leads.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Understanding of alternative products industries helpful, but not required.
- Outside position with up to 100% local travel time (within a 2-3 hour radius) and occasional travel to our California HQ events throughout the country (up to 25%).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (we have to ship product and event materials to you and you will need to be able to move them as needed).
- Must be able to perform essential functions including prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
