Position Overview
Lead with passion and drive operational excellence as the Retail Store Manager at Rebel Convenience Stores. You’ll oversee a high-performing team, optimize store success, and create a welcoming environment for customers. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 10-15 employees, fostering a culture of accountability and positivity.
- Create staff schedules aligned with labor budgets and peak sales hours.
Operational Excellence
- Boost sales by executing promotions, managing inventory, and minimizing shrink.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, food handling, and local regulations).
- Oversee daily cash handling, bank deposits, and P&L reporting.
Customer Experience
- Resolve customer concerns swiftly, turning challenges into loyalty-building opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized store that reflects Rebel’s brand values.
Business Growth
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Partner with the Regional Manager to launch community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3 years of retail management experience (convenience store, grocery, or restaurant preferred).
- Proven success in driving sales, reducing costs, and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, labor laws, and retail POS systems.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Preferred Skills
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with fuel station operations
- Bilingual in [Spanish/other language]
