Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for growing and engaging 7-Eleven Hawaii’s digital audience, with a primary focus on organic social media. This role will develop and execute content strategies, create content to enhance brand awareness and support business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Social Media Strategy & Content Creation (Primary Focus)
· Develop and execute engaging content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
· Create original content, including short-form videos, photos, and graphics, to grow and engage our audience.
· Monitor trends and experiment with new content formats to enhance engagement.
· Analyze social performance metrics and optimize content based on insights.
· Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy across paid and organic channels.
· Respond to social media inquiries, comments, and direct messages – escalating complaints to the Customer Care team as necessary.
Other Digital Marketing Support
· Assist with paid social campaigns by supporting ad creatives and targeting strategies.
· Assist with influencer collaborations and community engagement.
· Help maintain website content, ensuring updates align with marketing initiatives.
· Support email marketing efforts, including content creation and campaign execution.
· Generate digital content including photos, videos, graphics, and ad copy for social media, digital campaigns, website, and e-newsletters as assigned.
· Manage in-store digital monitor program including installation, content generation, and scheduling.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
Skills and Qualifications
· Passion for social media with hands-on experience in platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
· Strong content creation skills, including photography, video editing, and basic graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
· Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and report social performance.
· Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
· Ability to prioritize and complete detailed work with accuracy and within timeline requirements
· Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
This position is in a normal office environment and does not have exposure to severe hazards. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
