Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their shifts, providing exceptional customer service, and leading our staff to deliver high-quality food and beverage experiences. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food service industry.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
• Train and mentor staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts.
• Support the Assistant Manager in scheduling staff and conducting interviews for new hires.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions.

Skills

• Strong background in coffee preparation and food service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Experience in staff training and supervising team members effectively.
• Familiarity with casual dining environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of bartending techniques is beneficial but not required.
• Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a busy setting.
