Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the clinic.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation.
- Handle medical scheduling using systems such as Eaglesoft or Athenahealth, coordinating appointments effectively.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic and enhance patient service experiences.
Skills
- Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, particularly in a dental clinic environment.
- Proficiency in using medical software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
