Job Description:

• As an Engineer 2 candidate will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems.
• Client is looking for a talented individual that can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on complex assignments.
• Candidate will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology's effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research and investigation and make recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness.
• Candidate will be required to listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations.
• As an Engineer 2, candidate will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems.
• Client is seeking a highly skilled Client Citrix Engineer to join our infrastructure team.
• This candidate will play a critical role in the implementation, support, and optimization of client's Citrix environment.
• The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC), and application layering technologies, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and highperformance end-user computing solutions.
• The Endpoint Engineering team works with Business/IT leadership and client's technology partners to provide the vision for our future work environment.
• Client design, build and support solutions that empower client employees and provide greater flexibility in their daily work.
• As a part of the team, candidate will deliver a wide range of applications and systems that support 97,000 employees' physical and virtual business technology environments around the globe.
• Candidate will be an integral part of our success, providing innovative and exceptional solutions for productivity, collaboration, and communication in a secure environment
• Client's core technology areas are Active Directory, Thin Client, and Platforms (Citrix, Terminal Server, Azure Virtual Desktop).
• Candidate will work with various engineering, application, and business communities to establish and improve processes and procedures related to the underlying technologies and solutions.
• Candidate will be responsible for leading events, incidents, and problem resolution within Client class systems architecture ensuring the availability and continuity of our infrastructure resources.
• The IT Engineer 2 will be responsible for maintaining and supporting components of client's desktop environment, including virtual desktop infrastructure, client based Windows operating systems, and application components within the infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support Client grade Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments on Windows Server platforms.
• Administer and maintain Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC) for load balancing, secure remote access (Gateway), and high availability configurations.
• Implement and manage application layering solutions (Citrix App Layering) to streamline app delivery and simplify image management.
• Perform system performance tuning, monitoring, and reporting using Citrix Director, Studio, and third party monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and desktop teams to ensure consistent, secure, and optimized end user experiences.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to connectivity, latency, printing, application errors, and profile management.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments including Group Policy, Active Directory integration, and patching strategies.
• Maintain documentation on environment architecture, standards, procedures, and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Experience with MS Active Directory required.
• Experience with MS Azure AD, MS InTune preferred.
• Basic understanding of Azure infrastructure, including networking, storage, dynamic scaling, and security.
• Experience with Terraform preferred.
• Experience with Nerdio preferred.
• Experience with ControlUp or similar preferred.
• Experience with W365 preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
