About the Role:
The Contracts and Loan Specialist will support the Real Estate Department in managing lease agreements, real estate contracts, and financing for store expansion and property-related transactions. This role requires a proactive professional with expertise in contract negotiation, loan documentation, and lease administration. The specialist will ensure compliance with legal standards and optimize financial terms to contribute to the company's growth strategy in retail locations.
This is a part-time position, offering a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week. The role requires in-office at least once per week.
Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)
Location: Huntington Beach, CA (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and contracts, purchase agreements, lease agreements, and other related documents.
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations to protect the company's interests.
- Collaborate with financial institutions to prepare loan documents, negotiate terms, and secure funding for acquisitions or development.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts, loan agreements, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with attorneys, financial advisors, and project managers to streamline the contracting and loan approval process.
- Oversee the closing process, ensuring all legal, financial, and contractual obligations are met.
- Identify potential risks or liabilities associated with contracts and loan agreements and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on legal, financial, and regulatory changes affecting contracts and loans.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Paralegal certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, loan processing, or related roles.
- Familiarity with the food and beverage, retail, or franchise industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of contract law, loan structures, and financial principles.
- Proficiency in contract management software and financial tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
