Overview:
7 Summits Construction is a Hartford based Construction Management & Design Build Firm serving a diverse array of clients in various market sectors throughout Southern New England. We are experiencing tremendous growth and are actively seeking driven, forward thinking & dynamic construction professionals to join our team. We are seeking Skilled Construction Project Managers to oversee and manage various construction projects for several high profile clients. The ideal candidates will have expertise in project planning, scheduling, contract management, and project coordination. We have 2 openings:
1. Sr. Level Project Manager - Experience Managing Complex Projects >$30Million
2. Project Manager - Experience Managing Projects from $1-$30 Million
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned resources to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Manage client relations and develop repeat business
- Evaluate project scope & develop effective bid packages
- Administer and manage trade contracts
- Build positive relationships with trades & employ effective conflict resolution
- Assist with preconstruction activities & project planning
- Build project CPM Schedules and update monthly. (Experience w/Cost & Resource loading is a plus)
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, trade contractors, etc. to ensure project milestones and requirements are met.
- Host client, trade contractor and other coordination meetings as required. Issue meeting agendas, meeting minutes and updated cost, schedule & compliance log attachments as required.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and progress
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, funding agencies, federal, state & municipal agencies.
- Manage a team of internal staff consisting of superintendents, project engineers & admin to execute project plans as assigned.
Requirements:
- 4 Year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field preferred
- Proven experience in construction project management or similar field preferred
- Proficiency in CPM Project Scheduling software such as MS Project, P6, Asta, Etc.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience using MS Office, Procore, Building Connected, Blue Beam, MS Project Planner & Primavera P6 preferred
- OSHA 10 HR or 30Hr Safety Certification Preferred
- Must have good interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high paced work environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
