The position is for an experienced asset finance professional to focus on building out BXCI’s growing asset financing business in Australia & New Zealand. BXCI is an active investor across public and private asset financing structures, including in residential mortgages, auto loans, equipment lending, personal lending, SME lending, fund financing and whole-business securitizations.
The successful applicant will collaborate with senior leadership in Asia and globally to design and execute BXCI’s growth strategy in the region, including originating new opportunities, managing existing investments and fundraising from new and existing clients. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, deal teams are typically small. A Senior Associate / Principal will therefore be expected to take leadership roles in the screening, analyzing and structuring of investment opportunities and frequently lead client and internal meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and modelling asset backed credit opportunities across a wide variety of product types
- Preparing presentations and memoranda to analyze investment opportunities, financial strategies, and business performance
- Assisting in the onboarding, and monitoring of investments
- Facilitating the structuring and execution of funding and securitizations
- Managing business risks through the execution of interest rate swaps and foreign currency forwards
- Analyzing and modelling new strategic initiatives and business development opportunities for BXCI’s asset finance business
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:
- Strong academic track record
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong English communication skill
- Prior buy side, investment banking, or securitization experience of 5-8 years with demonstrated acquisition and financing transaction experience.
