Responsibilities & Skills
- Ability to manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution
- 3 years of experience in a professional design or front-end development role
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery with strong visual design sensibility
- Experience designing and customizing WordPress themes and templates
- Able to translate design files (e.g., PSD, Figma) into responsive, standards-compliant HTML/CSS
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and how they apply across screen sizes and devices
- Ability to visually debug and test designs across major browsers and platforms
- Experience coding email and newsletter templates with design consistency in mind
- Basic PHP and WordPress plugin/theme development knowledge
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and how to design with SEO in mind
- Experience integrating basic APIs and contact forms
- Working knowledge of SQL/MySQL is a plus
- Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with developers
- Able to operate independently while staying aligned with project goals and timelines
