Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of store products, including stock levels and promotions, to effectively assist customers.
- Conduct product demos to engage customers and encourage purchases.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to maintain an appealing store layout.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
