The inside sales representative is responsible for driving sales to new and/or existing customers through telephone contact (100%). Limited face-to-face to meet individual and organizational needs may be required.

This position is remote and 5 days per week.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing, prospecting, and building relationships within multiple assigned territories to increase revenue growth and customer satisfaction.  Focus areas will include increasing penetration within new and existing accounts with an emphasis on inventory optimization and the minimization of waste and scrap.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Field Inventory management and other stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities for inventory optimization.

  • Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting and other intelligence essential to the sales organization’s effective use of field inventory.

  • Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales team, and other functional departments.

  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate policies and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.

  • Responsible for presenting business updates as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • 1-3 years of sales experience; however, will look at new graduates with a minimum of a 3.2 GPA

  • Ability to travel when required.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Self-motivated, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and time management skills

  • Ideal candidates will be able to consider future relocation opportunities for growth into field sales in various markets around the country.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards.
