The Vascular Division of C.R. Bard is seeking a highly motivated Associate Territory Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA! This individual will be responsible for promoting and educating healthcare professionals on the benefits of our peripheral vascular products as well as implementing strategic plans to increase market share.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of assigned accounts including but not limited to inventory management, contract pricing, and reimbursement rates
Assist sales representatives by providing clinical training sessions at hospitals or clinics when requested
Attend conferences and trade shows to promote products and services to potential customers
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to nurses, physicians, residents, students, and other allied health professionals
Coordinate visits to customer sites to provide technical advice, information, and education regarding the safe and effective use of Bard products.
Develop relationships with key decision makers within each account through regular communication and face-to-face interactions
Foster positive working relationships with hospital staff, physician groups, and community leaders.
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing ones while maximizing profitability
Initiate local educational programs, seminars, and symposiums to educate end users and allied health professionals about Bard products and services
Maintain complete knowledge of all Bard products and services as well as competitor’s offerings
Organize product demos and events to showcase the unique features and benefits of Bard products
Provide input into the development of new and innovative products
Work closely with Sales Representatives to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Utilize a variety of resources such as professional journals, research studies, and industry trends to stay current on the latest medical technology and practice guidelines.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field preferred
Experience managing teams required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a sales or marketing role preferably in a medical device environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to travel frequently (70%)
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
Willingness to comply with all Bard policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance, and applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous successful experience selling capital equipment to hospitals and clinics
Knowledgeable in clinical practices and procedures in the area of Vascular Surgery
Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrates comprehension of Bard’s Vascular Product Portfolio and clinical indications for use
Demonstrates basic understanding of competitive landscape for Bard’s Vascular Product Portfolio.
Effective project management skills
