About AMS Cardiology and Atria Health:
AMS is a 25-provider independent cardiology practice in the northern Philadelphia suburbs and the first Atria Health partner. AMS Cardiology is one of the largest and most sophisticated cardiology practices in Pennsylvania. Atria Health is a national cardiology growth platform that is assisting AMS Cardiology on a number of growth programs.
About AMS Cardiovascular ASC:
Atria Health and AMS Cardiology are opening a brand-new AMS Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center. This center will have state of the art technology and service our patients with Coronary, Vascular, and Electrophysiology procedures in the outpatient setting.
About the Cardiovascular Technologist position:
AMS Cardiovascular ASC is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist with experience in Coronary, Vascular, and EP procedures to join our team. The Cardiovascular Technologist will be based in Horsham, PA and will assist physicians in invasive coronary studies and interventions, diagnostic and interventional peripheral studies, electrophysiology procedures, and non-invasive cardiac testing. This is a Per Diem position with shifts on varying days Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitors patient’s hemodynamic and physiologic data during cases.
- Scrubs interventional coronary and peripheral cases.
- Communicates with physicians, patients, and family members for favorable patient outcomes.
- Ensures Operating Room is adequately prepared for all procedures.
- Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current RCIS License in PA or ARRT Certification
- BLS/ACLS Certifications
- Two years experience in coronary/vascular/EP procedures
- Strong team player with excellent communication, organization and critical thinking skills.
