Local construction company is currently seeking a long term, dedicated skilled laborer with specialized knowledge and experience in carpentry. Working only in southeastern Ohio, 740 Construction has completed a variety of projects including new and renovated commercial and institutional buildings for both public and private entities.
Job Summary
Dependable, detailed, hard-working craftsman capable of reading blueprints, communicating with the site manager, and able to perform a variety of complex task efficiently and safely.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Construct building framework with an array of materials (wood, metal, plastic, etc.).
- Rough carpentry including furring, blocking, openings, drywall, etc.
- Finish carpentry including exterior trim and siding, installing doors and windows, interior trim and millwork, cabinets, and casework, etc.
- Capable of measuring and cutting accurately.
- Calculating and estimating materials to complete assigned tasks.
- Performs all other related duties as needed.
Education/Experience
- Previous experience required, minimum three years.
- Creativity and design skills.
- Knowledge of different carpentry materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment.
- Punctuality.
- Flexibility in job hours and site locations.
Work Hours | Benefits
Position: Permanent, up to 40 hours per week with overtime potential. Hours may vary depended on project requirements.
Starting wage: $22.00
Paid time off, health care stipend negotiable

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
