Avesta Housing is seeking an Activities Assistant to work at our assisted living facility, 75 State Street. The Activities Assistant assists in the planning, managing, organization, advertising and running of scheduled activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, mission, and values of 75 State Street.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Must possess valid Maine driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to drive 14-passenger bus after training has been provided.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, family, staff, outside facilities and vendors.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to present a professional and welcoming appearance.

This is a non-exempt/hourly position that pays $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, plus any applicable shift differentials. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) position with regular hours in the afternoon.
