Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Handle depositions, discovery, and trial preparation
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients in commercial litigation matters
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys to develop case strategies
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and client service
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active Bar membership in Florida
- 5-15 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong litigation, legal research, and writing skills
- Experience with depositions, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
