Summary
Our aviation client is looking for an Experimentation Data Scientist to join the Experimentation team, where you will be instrumental in delivering insights that influence business decisions, directly affecting product development and user experience. You will collaborate with developers, designers, product teams, and our Experimentation Platform partners to identify and implement enhancements throughout the A/B testing lifecycle, ensuring efficient testing and analysis at scale.
Schedule- Hybrid - At least 3x a week (Tu - Thurs) - SeaTac
Responsibilities
• Experimental Design: Partner with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, designers) to establish clear hypotheses, select relevant metrics, and design controlled experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, etc.).
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, and transform data from diverse sources. Perform thorough statistical analyses to assess experiment outcomes, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
• Statistical Modeling: Create and utilize statistical models to evaluate treatment effects, quantify uncertainty, and estimate causal impacts, with an understanding of non-normal data distributions.
• Data Visualization: Develop engaging visual representations to convey experiment results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Engage closely with stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, offer recommendations, and refine experiments. Actively share your work to promote best practices and consistently seek feedback to enhance your methods.
• Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of developments in experimental design, statistical techniques, and data science methodologies.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field). A graduate degree is preferred.
