The client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
This position is full-time and operates during the day shift, requiring the completion of three 12-hour shifts per week (0.9 FTE). The LPN will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative, patient-centered team environment. Under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN will assist in patient care, document relevant observations, and ensure a safe and adequately equipped environment for patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the nursing care and treatment of patients within the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
- Observe and document patient conditions, including any instances of illness or injury.
- Restock patient rooms and maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate effectively with the care team to provide exceptional care in accordance with relevant scope and standards of practice.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** An Associate's degree in Practical Nursing is preferred. -
**Licensure:** An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin is required.
- **Experience:** A minimum of one year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility is required.
