**Project Manager**
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management, oversight, and direction of all assigned projects.
**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:**
- Develop and build teams for each project while ensuring quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing project scope, and delivering on time and within budget.
- Drive division profitability through effective project execution.
- Develop and lead project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.
- Evaluate and improve the systems and processes utilized by the department to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
- Manage and mentor a group of approximately 3 direct reports and 10 total reports.
- Review overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific process design methodology as required.
- Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects, adjusting priorities and milestones based on customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
- Interact with customers to confirm expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide oversight for third-party construction firms. - Manage the project review process with emphasis on financial forecasting.
- Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and project delivery.
Communicate challenges, risks, and successes systematically and proactively.
- Oversee invoices according to project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial/mixed-use construction.
- Understanding of engineering principles in electric power.
- Field experience coordinating with construction management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
- Ability to develop relationships and support project acquisition efforts.
- Proven track record of managing a profitable portfolio.
- Strong initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Degrees in electrical engineering or construction management are preferred.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
