Position Summary
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for performing essential respiratory therapy procedures, including managing ventilators, drawing and analyzing ABG results, and providing neonatal and adult resuscitation. This is a full-time position with 12-hour day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Carry out physician orders promptly and accurately according to policy.
Monitor and report patient changes in condition, test results, and concerns to the physician.
Provide patient education and risk factor assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
License: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Utah.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
Experience: Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred.
