**Job Duties** -
Conduct evaluations of students exhibiting communication disorders.
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the specific needs of each student receiving therapeutic services.
- Create appropriate service delivery models to address the diverse needs of students.
- Consult with classroom teachers and other educational personnel to facilitate the transfer of therapeutic progress into classroom activities.
- Provide information, support, and guidance to parents, guardians, and family members.
- Assist educators in the identification of students with communicative disorders.
- Maintain comprehensive records for students who have been evaluated and are receiving services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both written and oral communication.
- Commit to personal professional development while exemplifying ethical standards and leadership.
- Adhere to the regulations of the school system, administrative procedures, local board policies, as well as state and federal rules and regulations.
Schedule - PT 16 hours/ week
**Qualifications**
- South Carolina Certification in Speech/Language Pathology (Clinical Fellows may apply).
- Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
