What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Lube Technician position at 772 AUTO REPAIR?
Job Description
Lube Technicians assist with low-level service requests including oil changes and other fluid replacements.
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine bay and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
- Perform other duties as required.
To be considered, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Job Requirements
- An aptitude for mechanical repair
- Demonstrated experience with servicing vehicles
- A valid Driver’s License
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Must be dependable and report to work on time
- Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to safely and regularly walk on uneven ground
