785 Beer company is looking for a restaurant front of house shift lead. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent at managing, training and growing a team of 40 team members. As a Shift Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations during your designated shifts. You will be responsible for supervising a team of employees, delegating tasks, and ensuring that operational standards are met. Your leadership skills will be critical in motivating and guiding your team to achieve their goals efficiently. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities to address any issues that arise during the shift.
Responsibilities:
. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead a team of employees during designated shifts.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that all team members understand their
responsibilities.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members to enhance their performance.
. Operational Management:
- Ensure that all operational procedures are followed accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain efficiency.
Customer Service:
- Maintain a high level of customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints.
- Train team members on excellent customer service practices and lead by example.
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting regular checks and inspections.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices to uphold health and safety regulations.
Training and Development:**
- Assist in training new employees on company policies, procedures, and job duties.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and
productivity.
- Identify training needs within the team and collaborate with management to address them.
- Coach team members under performing and work with those individuals to improve their
performance.
Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with team members, management, and other
departments.
- Relay important information, updates, and directives from management to the team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through clear and respectful
communication.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends & holidays, Also must be available to work
between the hours of 9am & 11pm on any day of the week.
