Shift Details: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Qualifications
- Machinist Degree preferred, or 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Strong understanding of metal properties and machining processes
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Proven experience in a tool room or similar environment
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) accurately
- Knowledge of CNC programming and operation
Responsibilities
- Sets up, operate, and program Tool Room equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Lathe, saw, manual mill and lathes.
- Set up and operate surface and cylindrical grinders.
- Manufacture parts and components to print specifications using manual and CNC machinery.
- Clean, evaluate, maintain, repair, and convert injection molds.
- Work safely and maintain molds and equipment to operate as designed.
- Maintain service records in compliance with FDA & ISO standards.
- Determine root cause when addressing major tool damage / failure. Report findings to the Tool Room Lead.

- Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
- May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works with limited supervision
- Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
- May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Anticipated hourly range: $25.20 per hour - $37.69 per hour
