SUMMARY 

The Financial Analyst is a hybrid position in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities include financial analysis, reporting, budget monitoring, audits, and maintaining organization records. Requirements include bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, analytical skills, proficiency in financial analysis, knowledge of government contracting, attention to detail, and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance that will require U.S. Citizenship.

 

Must be able maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

Secret clearance is required, which requires U.S. Citizenship.   

 

Bachelor's degree and one to two (1-2) years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.    

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned. 

 

Assists with financial analysis, including cost analysis, budget variance analysis, and financial forecasting, to provide insights and recommendations to project managers and leadership. 

 

Prepares accurate and timely financial reports, both for internal management and government agencies. Ensures compliance with all reporting standards and regulations. 

 

Monitors and tracks project expenditures to ensure they align with approved budgets. Identifies and investigates any discrepancies or variances. 

 

Supports financial execution, audits and reviews related to the government contract.  

 

Maintains accurate and organized financial records and documentation in accordance with government contract requirements. 

 

Assists with developing financial models and scenarios to assess the impact of various financial decisions and strategies. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and one to two (1-2) years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $70K to $80K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
