Duties
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, decorations, and entertainment.
- Develop event marketing strategies to promote upcoming events and increase attendance.
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive prices.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
- Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to breakdown.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees before, during, and after events.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure catering services meet client expectations.
- Evaluate the success of each event through feedback collection and analysis for future improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management or coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and best practices.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
