What are the responsibilities and job description for the Iron Worker position at 7wondersmigrations?
Responsibilities:
- Erect and bolt/weld structural steel components (columns, beams, joists, etc.)
- Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plans
- Operate rigging equipment, aerial lifts, and hand tools
- Work safely at heights using fall protection and ladders
- Perform layout, fit-up, and minor welding tasks as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and clean job site practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in steel erection or structural ironwork
- Able to read construction drawings and layout points
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Welding experience (stick/MIG) is a plus
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable transportation to our shop or job sites
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 or 30
- NCCER or AWS Certification
- CDL is a plus, but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
