The Role: Broker Benefits sales, FSA/HSA Specialist - This is a SALES role
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in an innovative benefits company on a mission to redefine employer-provided healthcare? Our client, a fast-growing player in the Consumer-Directed Healthcare (CDH) space, is searching for an experienced sales professional. Ideally you have benefits or wage parity experience, but if not the drive to learn is key. This role will focus on wage parity with the ability to grow and sell FSAs and HSAs, connecting with brokers to ensure clients receive seamless, compliant, and value-rich healthcare benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Broker Relationships: Identify and establish connections with health insurance brokers, showcasing our client as the trusted partner for all CDH needs.
- Drive Referrals and Lead Generation: Collaborate closely with brokers to convert CDH opportunities into clients, managing the full sales cycle from presale through implementation.
- Broker Education and Support: Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to educate brokers on the advantages of our client’s FSA/HSA solutions and ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Pipeline Ownership: Own a pipeline with a close ratio goal of 10-15%, meeting targets of 8 broker meetings per week and 10 client meetings monthly.
- RFP and Proposal Management: Work with brokers on RFPs and proposals, generating consistent new business opportunities.
Who You Are:
- Skilled in Benefits Sales: With at least 2 years in employer benefits or a related industry, you have a proven track record of driving sales and building lasting client relationships.
- Health Insurance Knowledge a Plus: While not required, familiarity with health insurance structures will strengthen your ability to collaborate with brokers and promote our client’s CDH solutions.
- Confident Communicator: Comfortable presenting to decision-makers and brokers in both in-person and virtual settings, with a knack for influencing outcomes.
- Organized and Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, you manage sales pipelines and broker partnerships with ease.

Pay: (DOE broker network) $75,000.00 - $120,000 /- per year base commission, Yr 1 OTE 150-200k
