They specialize in business-purpose mortgage loans for non-owner-occupied investment properties, offering both fix/flip bridge loans and long-term rental financing. Not a broker or a bank, but a fully funded lending partner capable of closing consistently. With extensive experience in real estate, our client and its affiliates have provided over $6 billion in real estate capital.
They are looking to expand their newly developed Outside Territory Loan Officer role and seeking someone with strong sales acumen, a desire to learn and interest in real estate.
Position Overview:
Territory Loan Officers build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships. They assist both the company and potential borrowers in assessing business ventures, analyzing income potential and creditworthiness, and advising on the use of our client’s financial products. Ideal candidates will possess strong real estate and business acumen, a sense of urgency, competitive drive, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. If you haven't sold in the real estate industry but have strong personal knowledge and interest - that works too!
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate lending (conventional/non-QM/mortgage insurance, etc.) OR consultative sales experience in real estate, serving high-net-worth clientele
- Experience in both commercial and residential mortgage lending
- Proven success in building client relationships via phone
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of business-to-business sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
- Proactive problem-solving, positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong persistence
Responsibilities

- Act as a Trusted Advisor: Analyze assets and investments, guide clients through the lending process, and offer personalized financial advice.
- Nurture Relationships: Deliver exceptional service and maintain strong client partnerships for repeat business.
- Evaluate Opportunities: Analyze market strategies, assess risk, and match clients with suitable lending products.
- Facilitate Transactions: Coordinate internally to ensure timely documentation and successful closings.
- Communicate Clearly: Provide consistent updates to stakeholders on progress and timelines.
- Drive New Business: Proactively reach out to potential partners and clients in a lead-generated environment to close new deals.

Base salary: 80k during ramp up then 60k once fully ramped a % of origination fees
