What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vault Technician position at 8108323?
The Vault Tech conducts inventory counts, documents products in the vault and moves products to their categorized, designated storage space with the vault. The tech will assist the packaging department and be open to change.
- Completes UIN audits in our state’s tracking system daily to ensure that all product has been transferred into the appropriate ‘room’ within METRC. Ensure anything that is done physically is also completed digitally.
- Conducts weekly counts of ready for sale products to report to the LeafLink Lead to ensure inventory is correct for both the sales team and dispensaries.
- Completes investigations on any questionable UINs and the location of products.
- Communicates any problems that may arise within the vault to the manager.
- Monitors product expiration dates.
- Organizes hard copy files/reports.
- Communicates with packaging department for when finished goods are ready to be transferred from packaging to the vault.
- Documents accurately all finished product that comes into the vault. Gives detailed report of specifications of each item. I.e.: Product name, Weight, THC %, total amount, and flower tiers which are designated by Post Harvest and the Sales team.
- Moves all products to their categorized, designated storage space within the vault until fulfillment is ready to pull these products for delivery orders.
- Carries out the consolidations of shelf space of these products to prepare for new inventory.
- Assists with any other projects/fulfillment duties that are assigned by manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks such as labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, including the rooms and immediate workspace, following daily cleaning protocols. Perform regular cleaning on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment.
- Follow standard procedures for safety and compliance.
- Report any compliance or safety errors to department leadership.
- Contribute to the overall safety and maintenance of the workspace.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
