BIM Technician / Coordinator
- Creating digital simulations of Electrical Work including Switchgear, Raceways, Light fixtures, busway, cable tray, etc
- Verifying that information entered into the BIM is correct.
- Creating and maintaining the project's overall BIM execution plan, ensuring it remains up to date throughout the course of the project.
- Verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete.
- Ensuring that BIM model parameters are compliant with the building execution plan.
- Configuring 3D models using BIM-specific modeling programs such as Revit.
- Adjusting design templates using modeling tools like EVOLVE
- Creating element groups or internal element libraries within the project
- Participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process.
- Participating in meetings with clients and stakeholders as a BIM expert
- Organizing agendas for regular coordination meetings and updates
- Transferring information and data to updated software versions.
- Providing Trimble Points.
- Maintain BIM issues Log for each Project
