The primary duty of the Multi-Family Project Coordinator is to support the Multi-Family Project Manager in supplying large multi-family and commercial project bids to stand-alone door shop locations. This position will work directly with the Multi-Family Project Manager, vendors, and field associates to help quote and competitively source necessary products for the projects’ needs.
Responsibilities
Assist in quoting doors and trim utilizing the company’s door manufacturing facilities
Provide quick turn around on project quotes using competitive products
Work with purchasing managers on non-contract suppliers that can benefit overall business
Work with door shop production managers on the assembly of doors and components
Understand and source commercial and residential door components
Manage committed inventory for large projects at door shops to ensure adequate supply
Assist in gathering submittals and request equivalent value products
Learn and understand supplier national builder programs
Identify need for supplier price concessions
Track all projects start dates and manage accordingly with door shops
Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once ensuring deadlines are met
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: POS System, Inventory System, and Microsoft Office
