Full time closing Delivery Driver

Marco's in Dickson is looking for a full-time closing driver- This position requires working at least five days per week from 4 or 5pm until closing.

Our Drivers are friendly, customer-service people who offer a smile when delivering our pizzas. With close to half of Marco's customers ordering for delivery, we count on drivers to be our ambassadors to the front doors of our delivery community.

Safety comes first, and you will be trained on in-store and on-the-road best practices for pizza delivery. With a good driving record, two year's of driving history, auto insurance, your own vehicle, a working smart phone and the desire and ability to delivery great customer service with every pizza, you have the makings of a successful job or career at Marco's.

You shall also receive cross-training in pizza making, order taking and more, expanding on skills that will take you a long way in the pizza business. Apply now and see if you and Marco's are a good match. Drivers can make up to $18 - $20 an hour during Prime Shifts, includes base pay plus tips, depending on driver performance. A $4 flat delivery reimbursement for the use of your car per delivery is paid out at the end of your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering our high quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• You will also be cross-trained to perform the duties of our in-store team members including: pizza making, ordering taking and more!
• You will be required to perform in store duties when not on deliveries.
• You will be required to assist/perform closing duties including but not limited to inventory counts, restocking, washing dishes, completing checklists and cleaning.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be professional with all Marco's Pizza customers
• Promptly handle all customer concerns by delighting each of our customers
• Willing to open and close our store according to Marco's Pizza standards; including counting nightly inventory and cash control
• Willing to be coached to higher management levels
• Willing to perform all Marco's Pizza delivery duties, in-store duties when not on deliveries and end-of-day tasks.
• Willing to perform and uphold Marco's Pizza daily cleaning duties
• Willing to maintain a safe and organized restaurant for employees and customers

Hours Available:

• This is a full-time hourly position (32 -40 hours per week)
• Candidate must be available on a regular basis in the evenings INCUDING BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT
• We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Physical Demands:

• Applicant must be able to use their hands and arms repetitively, especially for kneading dough, stand for extended periods of time, use their feet repetitively (specifically walking around), bend over, twist body and head, reach above shoulder level, kneel to ground level, push and/or pull, or move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the applicant may need to push and/or pull or move and/or lift over 51 pounds

Pay:

Base pay will be between $12 in the store and $10 on the road. Drivers take home money daily in the form or reimbursements per delivery and tips.
