Pizza Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

The Driver is responsible for presenting a positive first impression of the establishment’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. Primary responsibilities of this position include, taking accurate orders, answering customer questions, preparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetable and meats and executing customers’ orders considering special requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Determines out-the-door times and communicates to fellow crew members.

· Delivers orders in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.

· Follows Marco’s safe delivery rules, as specified in the Marco’s Manuals.

· Makes cash drops after each delivery run, and never maintains more than $20 cash, in accordance with the Marco’s Manuals.

· Maintains a safe vehicle that is following all applicable state safety requirements and the Marco’s Manuals, and which presents a professional, hospitable image to Guests.

· Delivers pizzas to all Guests’ front doors, including walking up steps/stairs as necessary.

· Assists in maintaining store cleanliness.

· Assists at the Cut Table and in the store as needed.

· Effectively relates to Guests and other crew members in a courteous and cooperative manner.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

2 Year Driving Experience

Preferred:

· ServSafe certified

Critical Competencies:

· Maintain compliance with all corporate-mandated training certification requirements.

· Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and demeanor conducive to a 5-star Guest experience.

· Maintain compliance with all company, store, federal, state, and local policies, procedures, laws and ordinances as required (particularly with regards to food, health, and safety).

· Maintain a just-opened store and personal appearance - unless actively making a product, all employees should be cleaning, all the time.

· Advocate and demonstrate Marco’s Cultural Beliefs on a daily basis.

· Avoid any use of personal electronic devices while on the clock.

· Demonstrate teamwork and a sense of urgency.

· Abide by all policies as set forth in this Handbook and the Marco’s Manuals.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours) on any given day

· Need to be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.

Salary : $15 - $20
