Description
The Area Manager reports directly to the Director of Operation, and acts as a key part of the 85°C operations management team. This position provides functional, technical or process leadership to multiple stores within a pre-defined region. As the core figure for each designated area, the Area Manager has overall responsibility for the area P&L and is directly responsible for the operational performance, as well as providing guidance, training and performance management for all subordinating personnels.
Job Duties
- Establish, measure and refine operational key performance objectives; visit assigned store locations to ensure compliance to all 85°C policies and procedures.
- Control and supervise all P&L activities within the assign area of 4-7 stores; analyze operation performance and market data to drive overall sales.
- Liase between the local management teams and the corporate administration; conduct Area meeting to assist management communication and address operating goals.
- Develop 85°C Store Management team; control management turnover rate; select and recommend the promotion and hiring of Store Management.
- Evaluate and document management performance, including bi-annual performance review, pay administration and disciplinary action
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent leadereship & interpersonal skills, with high self-confidence and able to clearly communicate
- In-depth understanding of 85°C products, equipment, current and future business concepts.
- Demonstrated success in Training, Finances, Operation Development, and Customer Service.
- Maintain & foster an owner mentality amongst self and subordinating managers. Motivate & empower individuals/teams.
- Strong familiarity with new store opening process.
- Experience in management of high volume stores, in direct supervision of ten (10) or more employees.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis with overnight stays, up to 50% of the time.
Salary : $74,000 - $80,000
