Position Summary :
85SIXTY is looking for an experienced Account Manager / Account Strategist who is fluent in French with a background in performance media and eCommerce to work on travel & hospitality clients. Hands-on experience with media, analytics, and marketing measurement techniques is highly advantageous for this position. The Account Strategist guides and coordinates activities between our internal teams and our clients. This is not a sales position. It is a hands-on strategic role that will work under the guidance of a Sr. Account Strategist or Director. The right candidate will not only have demonstrated marketing skills, but will be highly motivated, independent, capable of learning new tasks, and a strategic thinker. This role will work across service areas including paid media, social media, analytics, content & creative, SEO, and email. You should be very comfortable pulling reports, working with data, and interpreting information in the interest of continual improvement.
The Account Strategist will serve as the primary point of contact between the agency and our clients. The Account Strategist leads and guides the development of overall client objectives and the ongoing strategic direction of the clients' marketing activity. The Account Strategist is focused on developing and strengthening positive client relationships across all levels and works internally to develop and execute strategies in collaboration across the agency. Is a natural self-starter and a team-player with a strong marketing and digital background with real life digital marketing experience.
Knowledge of travel, hospitality, consumer goods, and / or ecommerce is ideal for this position.
French language proficiency required.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-agency integrated marketing programs by participating in briefs and work sessions, contributing to the overall planning process, representing the interactive opportunity, defining interactive tactics within projects and campaigns.
- Work with others on the account team in a collaborative way to drive results for the overall business.
- Plan for all engagements including goals, deliverables, schedules and budgets by managing the workflow process with support from team members to ensure that teams are delivering on time and on budget.
- Manage implementation of integrated offerings and tools and identify cross-platform opportunities.
- Thoroughly understands the client's business / brand, competitive environment, industry trends, and overall marketing plans / goals.
- Ensure deliverables meet clients' strategy and drives the business forward based on client objectives.
- Provides support with analytics and other reporting, testing and QA, and vendor selection and management.
- Leads regular client presentations, calls, and strategic discussions.
- Defines and develops measurement models for project success with clients.
- Spearheads consistent reviews of project delivery, research, analytics, best practices, etc.
- Oversees the effective execution of marketing / advertising programs including written communication of changes and updates to all team members.
- Partners with internal teams and external partners to communicate client objectives and develop strategic solutions.
- Assists across all areas of the agency and lends a hand when additional resources are required.
- Willing to work with clients on Eastern Time.
