Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Staff to join our team! As apart of this team, you're responsible for ensuring all events are set up properly, creating a seamless atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, and decor according to event specifications.
- Ensure the event space is clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Assist in the placement of centerpieces, flatware, glassware, and other items as needed.
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment to meet event requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and care of all event materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with the event coordination and service teams to ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Assist in the tear-down and cleanup process after events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event set-up or banquet services is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
