Our organization is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to oversee and managing the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets within our property. The ideal candidate has the passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and an in-depth understanding of food and beverage management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of chefs, servers, bartenders, and other staff.
- Manage all aspects of staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and exceptional service.
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring quality service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Control inventory, order supplies, and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling costs to meet financial targets.
- Review financial reports and implement strategies to optimize profitability and reduce waste.
- Analyze sales trends, guest feedback, and industry developments to identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain high standards of service to exceed guest expectations.
- Address guest feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience with Marriott preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse food and beverage operation in a high-volume setting.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, quality standards, and operational best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
